Dr Marlowe is an infectious diseases Consultant who worked in Adelaide during the SARS outbreak in 2003 and was the regional lead within the public sector. Dr Marlowe trained as a doctor at Bristol University, furthering her career training in some of the most premiere centres for infectious diseases, tropical medicine and clinical microbiology in the world.

Dr Marlowe holds a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and has run international clinical trials for the Department of International Development. Dr Marlowe has completed extensive research into mycobacterial diseases, and achieved her MD with University of London as a result.

In addition to general infectious diseases, Dr Marlowe has a particular interest in tropical diseases and infections in returning travellers, chronic infections including tuberculosis, HIV and viral hepatitis.

Dr Marlowe in an appointed consultant within the NHS working previously at the United Bristol NHS Trust and West Area Trust.She has also previously worked with the Health Protection Agency in the South West and collaborated on their TB Programme. Dr Marlowe was also involved in research into hepatitis C with the University of Bristol and the Viral Hepatitis Department at the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

She currently sits on the Steering Committee for Lyme Disease for the Royal College of GPs and has been involved in writing a definitive online Toolkit for Lyme Disease in the UK and educating GPs about this disease.

Dr Marlowe runs a busy clinic at Spire Bristol Hospital seeing patients nationally and internationally with chronic difficult to diagnose conditions, as well as all diseases in the returning traveller.

I’m due to get married in December so I thought I’d start having regular facial treatments so popped along to Simon Lee and spoke with the lovely Sam. I told her what my concerns were to which she gave me some really good advice of what she thought I should have. She said she’d come up with a monthly treatment plan (some twice a month) tailor made for my specific needs. She emailed me later with a breakdown of what each treatment was going to achieve for my skins needs and as this package was bespoke and I was having so many the lovely ladies at Simon Lee gave me a discount and told me I could make quarterly payments which is very much appreciated. My experience of being a client at this clinic has been nothing but positive from start to finish. From first contact with Jane, Mr Lee's very communicative and efficient secretary to reception and nurses and finally to Mr Lee himself, I was shown the utmost professional care and attention, with the added bonus of informality and friendliness to put me at my ease. I had a lower face and necklift in July 2022, followed in November by excision of a bony lump on my forehead, both under local anaesthetic. I will admit to being nervous but I had nothing to worry about. I also felt that the cost for the two procedures was reasonable and not in any way exorbitant. I am very happy with the results of both procedures and would have no hesitation in recommending this clinic.

I have visited Emma at Simon Lee a number of times now and have always found Emma very knowledgable and have felt very comfortable when she treats me. Emma is experienced and is open and frank in what is achievable. I feel in capable hands as I know she won’t go too far with the treatments and listens when I discuss with her my objectives and concerns.

I attended the Simon Lee Clinic for MiraDry treatment, I was quite nervous before hand but the staff made me feel at ease. Anna explained the procedure throughly to me before and talked me through what she was doing step by step throughout the procedure. It was much better than I expected and the results are fantastic. After growing up not happy with the appearance of my uneven lips, I came across Mr Lee's clinic and I have not been happier. From start to finish, his staff were very welcoming. Cat kindly found me a date and time that worked for me and knowing how nervous I was, booked me in with Lucy. The minute I met Lucy I felt at ease, she knew exactly how I wanted the end result, made sure I was comfortable throughout the injections and I never felt like any question I asked was silly. I could not fault the end result. You do need to go back for tops up with this kind of thing, but very rarely and I cannot wait for my next one, even if it is just to see the team again! 5 stars throughout!

I had surgery with Dr Lee this year and am so pleased with the result. From the start at my initial consultation I had total trust in him and absolutely no concern about the operation and the after care I would receive.The advice he gave and the finished result is amazing with no scaring.... just absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend him and would have no problem what so ever using him in the future. He and the girls in the surgery were all so friendly and made the whole experience one I thrilled with.
