Skin
Skin changes with age and environmental exposure. It loses its elasticity so no longer conforms so smoothly to the moving underlying tissues and gets textural surface changes that start to show. Fine or hatched lines are usually a result of environmental factors and will need treatment to restore elasticity such as laser skin resurfacing or skin rejuvenation and intense hydration. Deeper lines, grooves or hollows are usually a result of changes within the deeper tissues that may need modification. This can be done with the aid of minimally invasive procedures such as fillers or Botox. Minor local anaesthetic surgery may also be considered to remove excess skin and reposition fat or muscle.

Treatments
Both cystic and non-cystic acne can cause multiple scars within any or all layers of the skin. Examination will allow accurate assessment of the depth and type of the scars. Each type of scar requires a focused treatment to attain the best results. This may include laser skin resurfacing, surgical scar excision and revision, Subcision or sometimes filler injections or skin excision. We aim to achieve a minimum of 50% improvement with a single cycle of treatment.
In severe cases in the older patient face lift techniques can help a lot.
Treatments
At the clinics own accredited minor operating theatre all kinds of local anaesthetic procedures can take place, including the removal of unwanted lesions and scar revisions

Sun damage can result in areas of brown or dark pigmentation. These areas can be treated with laser or intense pulsed light and maintenance therapy will help keep them away.
Treatments
Triple therapy
Small superficial veins running within the skin that appear as red or blue lines. Commonly occurring on the face and legs and can be of varying sizes. Thread veins of different sizes and location respond to different treatments so we offer sclerotherapy, endovenous diathermy, intense pulsed light and laser.

Treatments
All skin has pores on the surface to allow natural moisturising oils and sweat to be secreted onto the skin surface. When these enlarge they can become visible, this especially happens when the sebaceous glands enlarge as happens in oily skin or with age. Many treatments such as skin peels can worsen the look of large pores and exacerbate the cosmetic problem. It’s a difficult condition to treat but fractional laser resurfacing with an ablative laser such as a CO2 can work well, some isolated thickened or hyperplastic areas will benefit from shaving, this is a skilled process performed under local anaesthesia.
Treatments
A condition that is caused by a combination of factors causing redness, thread veins and acne across the upper cheeks and nose. Combination treatment is required for best results and includes skin washes, antimicrobial therapy, diathermy, laser and IPL. A consultation and assessment required.
Treatments
Sometimes often because of the environment and exposure skin just needs help to look better.
